U‑Pick Flower Garden Guidelines
Welcome to Rawson’s Farm!
We’re so glad you’re here. To help you enjoy your visit and keep our gardens thriving, please take a moment to read these friendly reminders.
What to Bring
• Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for walking through the fields.
• Bring something to transport your flowers home.
Picking Tips
• Early morning or late afternoon picking is best — flowers wilt quickly in the heat.
• Once home, trim your stems and place them in cool water with the flower food we provide.
• Keep your bouquet in a cool place for the longest vase life.
Pets & Children
• We LOVE animals, but please do not bring pets into the flower gardens.
• We LOVE children and encourage you to bring them to enjoy the experience.
Please keep them close and supervise them carefully when using snips.
• For everyone’s safety, no running or chasing is allowed anywhere on the farm.
What We Provide
During your visit, we supply:
• Fresh water
• Snips
• Rubber bands
• A vessel to hold your flowers while you pick
• Jars available for a small fee
Please return snips and the white picking vessel before you leave — and don’t forget your complimentary flower food packet to keep your blooms happy
Respect the Farm
Rawson’s Farm is also our home.
Please help us keep it beautiful by:
• Taking all trash with you
• Avoiding cigarette butts
• Refraining from smoking whenever possible
Most importantly… ENJOY!
We love seeing your creations.
